La Banda Elástica (LBE), is a Latin alternative music magazine and online media company that has been helping shape the U.S. Latino alternative music scene and beyond since 1992.
A Spanglish play of the word “rubber band,” LBE always had its sights on stretching into the future, forming a “band” of followers that would rely on its vital music reviews and recommendations for discovery of new artists and contextualizing the trailblazers before them.
LBE has hosted countless new music concerts including a run of award shows in collaboration with the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York City and Los Angeles.
LBE continues to bring audiences closer to the artists they love and to help them discover new ones. At the same time, it continues to partner with well-known and up-and-coming brands, offering customized campaigns that leverage its digital, video, radio and event offerings.
